Rosie's Writing

Rosie's story Birch Glow was published in the January 2002 issue of Analog magazine. A review of that issue in Tangent Online liked Birch Glow. The January Analog is no longer available in bookstores. If you want a copy, see Analog's FAQ answer to "Do you sell back issues?", which has pointers to dealers they know of who sell back issues. You could have gotten an electronic version from FictionWise.com until January 31, 2002, but no longer.

Read Rosie's story The Fifth Sun in the anthology The Age of Reason, published by sff.net. The anthology has more neat stories by Paul Levinson, Michael Burstein, Geoffrey A. Landis, Melissa Michaels and others, and it made the preliminary ballot for the 2001 Bram Stoker Award. You can purchase a copy from sff.net or Amazon.

Rosie's story Mom and the Ankylosaur finally was printed, in the summer 2004 issue of Fantastic Stories, published by DNA Publications. Unfortunately, their web site seems stalled in Summer 2003, so try asking at a science fiction bookstore or in the hucksters room at a convention. And those who were subscribed to the magazine in the summer of 2004, such as through DNA or Amazon, should have that issue.

Read Rosie's book reviews in some issues of the Hugo-nominated NOVA Express.

Our New House Project

Here are some photos and plans of our new house, which we started in August 2000, closed on in September 2001, move into in late October 2001, and will always be working on decorating. The most recent pictures went up 12/21/2005.

Our Pictures

Here are many photos from our December 2004 trip to New Zealand and Tahiti. This time, they're all labelled and mostly in order.

Here are many photos from our trip to Venice, Italy over New Years, 2003. Sorry, they are not labelled.

Here are many photos from our June 2000 trip to beautiful Hawaii. Sorry, they are not all labelled or in order.

A friend of ours makes interesting art, like these clocks, from lathe turned wood and other objects. We have one of his Hard Disk platter clocks, on the wall in our kitchen (Thanks, Dave!).

We play D&D with these interesting people.

Here are some photos from a post-Philcon '99 soup & celebration at Swanwick's.

Here is some artsy stuff and mistakes.

Here are some photos of my computer menagerie in our old house.
